how does one equip/use the paperclip lockpicks? I can't seem to access them at all despite having three in my inventory

i played not too long ago and i don't know if this is supposed to happen but when i get caught 2 times already and i'm in the chair with restraints on, is something suppose to happen? seems like we can escape if we try hard enough but after a while of trying to getout of the restraints, the sound glitches as if im still trying when im not even clicking anything, had to close the game just to restart, is this a bug?

quick advice when outside, the lights dont go on unless i play with the door for a bit so if u do get stuck and dont know what to do that is something that helped me out when playing. i also dont know why the gun's sound is completely gone and you dont see your hand when equipping it and when you run out of ammo you can still fire but it wont hurt the butcher or the other character it will just piss off the butcher. just something i thought i should mention

There is a typo if you interact the skeleton in the shower on the third floor, says "haning" instead of hanging.

anyone else get stuck outside waiting for the killer to open the door, or is there something i don't know?

This game so far is super fun and scary. I spend most of my time in the game hiding under a bed because i'm too scared to leave. Great game cant wait for full release!

HUGE framedrops every 5-10 seconds the game runs solid 80 fps but it randomly drops to 5 for a couple of seconds very often

So far this game gave me a lot of positive emotions. I've got both endings today and i'm very satisfied with it! Also, the lore of the game looks pretty interesting to me because it somehow connects to "Feed Me Billy". Gotta look into it as soon as possible :D And yes, here is my bug report for around 10 hours of playtime: 1. Sound glitches. 1.1 - If you will die after Brendan is killed - the sound of him crying and loudly breathing will loop forever. 1.2 - When you will try to untie yourself in the beginning of day 3 - loud escaping noise will loop forever. This also happened to me both times, when i tried to look right or left (q and e) while escaping. 2. Killer AI 2.1 - Sometimes he gets stuck on the staircase. Thankfully, you can lure him out. 2.2 - He can see through any doors, so you can't hide behind them. 3. Rats AI 3.1 - One rat got stuck two times on the main staircase. It can't move and will be there until the end of playthrough. 4. Other 4.1 - You are able to jump from the barbed wire and skip pretty big section of the game. It seems pretty precise, but i've done it first time by accident. 4.2 - If you will drop an item on the opened hatch door - you can't pick it back. There's literally no light or the item itself. just found some kind of weird bug, not sure if you know about this. the part happened where the vision goes blurry and roxanne says "my head..." and i was hiding under a bed. if the dialogue box closes, it takes you out of hiding but you're still under the bed so you're kind of stuck... if you crouch and uncrouch a couple times you can get out but i could not interact with objects, was weird

this is the only game you've created that has had problems with OBS. every few seconds it lags out. does anyone else have this problem or is it just me? every other game works fine

Is it ok to make full YouTube vids now? If not, any ideas on when you'd be ok with it? I'm planning on doing a "full SOOTH" experience by including Night Shift and the full game all in one vid. But I have to get the green light first!

I really want to play this game, but the jumpscares are so loud and startling, that it makes it incredibly uncomfortable to play to the point that I just close the game down and never touch it again. Maybe I'm just a wuss, but I really wanna play it and while I could just turn off the audio, I also wanna appreciate the incredible atmosphere the game has. It would be great if there was a volume slider just for the jumpscares so I could turn them down a bit.

The killer should board up the ducts if he sees you go in them, then you can only remove the boards with the hammer. Love all the changes you added so far

it just gets better every update, the new alternate ending so very cool and I liked the last minute chase from the killer, I do wish i could know what happened to the protagonist but overall still liked it

I love the new 0.7.2. update. That lady in a wheelchair scared the crap out of me when I ran into her after escaping from the cage. Didn't expect that. Does she have a name? Is she killer's wife or mother? She reminded me of old Eveline, that old lady in a wheelchair from RE7. Can't wait for the full game. *Edit: idk if this is a bug, but when I shoot her with a pistol she won't stop screaming (by the looks of her she is covered in blood and her head is missing). *Edit 2: I found another bug, but I think it involves spoilers.

Hi, not sure if this is really a bug or an exploit or something but when I get to the area in the prologue with the suitcase and a dead end to the left and right, I managed to jump over the right fence unintentionally. I guess this skips a trigger of some kind because after doing this and running into the guy with the bag on his head he doesn't react and I'm stuck in the prologue. I can enter the house and find the person in the wheelchair but they likewise don't react.

Hello! Great update, i really enjoyed it. You should really add some more tension to that "cornfield part" though, like random footsteps, rustling in the bushes. Other than that, awesome update. There's 2 glitches for me though, once you get to the house part. My screen just seems to be on permanent "glitch" mode, "the enemy is nearby" glitching. It feels "doubled up" when the enemy is close (this happened the both times i tried it). Also the door in the tv room doesn't open up for me when i remove the pins, it just says "moving" but nothing happens.

I've had the same crash right as the "LOADING" screen appears with either Prologue or The House. I just got the new version, about to try it now.

I can't seem to run it on my laptop, as it crashes each time I try to start a new game either with the prologue or the main game. Crashes on the loading screen. Not being tech savvy I have no idea if this is a problem with my laptop just not being made for 3D games or what.

I have been producing & engineering, also doing sound design, for roughly a decade and I would lose my mind if you gave me a chance to send you some sounds/music/ambience/sound effects & more to be used in future releases! I get the "static" all the time in the game whether I'm near the killer or not. Also, if you somehow manage to press the crouch button during the driving scene in the beginning, you'll clip out of the car. Entertaining bug to say the least.

Sorry to post about another bug, when crouch walking up the second staircase via the gear puzzle, you'll become stuck on the stairs and have to jump to get over an invisible object. Sorry for being a nit picking douche.

Ran into two issues. Flap to outside bugs out and no longer drops off when touched or interacted with. Removing all the pins on a door in the TV room doesn't allow you to move or remove the door so that path stays stuck. Hope everything is well with the family, hoping the family emergency get sorted with the best outcome.

when i get into the hallway where that goes to the screwdriver room and the boarded and spawn room, i go through the door and i get a black screen. i open the console and it said something like "exception caught, player rewind" or something. it happened twice.

It shouldn't be laggy. You could try running it in lower quality settings.
