UPDATE NOTE: To upgrade to the latest version, start the game and apply the patch when prompted on the main menu. It will update automatically
Next / Future updates
- Gym level
- Tutorial
- Fixing the score system. It's probably no secret that it's been broken for the last few versions). Since I shifted the mechanics to be more focused on not getting spotted, the current score system which emphases combos and speed isn't going to work
- More weapons: throwing knives, drill, chainsaw. High scores will unlock new weapons
0.2.7
Note: the costumes and doll mode only need to be unlocked once. You'll have access to all costumes and weapons if you unlock them and quit the game
- Opening Credits Sequence
- Lots of new video fomats and crt settings
- Radar showing you where to go when outside. I'm not sure if this will stay, or I'll upgrade to a full minimap down the line
- Fixed the slowdown issue which mostly effected the house levels
- You can change costumes in the costume menu by pressing Z. Try to collect them all
- Doll Mode: You can unlock doll mode by collecting all the dolls outside
- Major behind the scenes code changes. Rewrote a lot of character stuff to support costume changing and handle things correctly, plus implementing a better progress tracking system and major code restructuring to support some of the new features. Refactoring a lot of the quick and dirty code used for sake of hitting the deadline last month.
- Fixed the 'Caught' camera. It should be dynamically placed now and not clip the walls
- Lots of other small changes you probably won't notice, but I needed to do to move the project forward

0.2.6
- Cheat menu - you can skip to any level in the game. Press = to bring up the menu
- Added a double speed fast forward (press T)
- Subdivided Trees so they're more stable
- Police will enter their cars on the map
- The Police can now die
- The telephone poles have colliders now
- The nurse corpses no long wig out when you touch them
- You can't see through walls in first person
- dialogue size fixed in first person (it should be more readable now)
- reduced audio quality to be more like vhs
- fixed a bug in the patching system so the patches are actually applied to the game

0.2.5
- Patching! You should no long need to download full builds from patreon. Whenever you launch the game you'll be able to install the latest update
- Added a main menu
- Reduced the build size to under 300mb
- More fixes are coming after this but I first wanted to get the patching system functional

0.2.3
- Fixed a bug with the triggers not allowing you to enter the houses.
- In the next update I'm going to work on a patching system, so the full game no longer needs to be downloaded for every update. Patching is long overdue
0.2.2 - More fixes
- Fixed the weapon range and reliability in all levels
- Fasting Crouch Walking
- Camera Sensitivity and Smoothing Options
- Made Larry slight smaller so it's easier to maneuver
- Various level design improvements
- Victims can open the door to escape from the store
- Improved first person camera - larry's body doesn't glitch out when looking down
- Improved third person transparency - no long transparent when peaking around a corner
- Fixed the 'victims warping' glitch
- Bathroom doors no longer spin all the way around
0.2.1 - Bug fixes and improvements
- Slowed down the victim's run speed a bit. You should be able to chase them down easier now, but there will still be some challenge.
- You can stab the victims normally, even when they're crawling
- Fixed the police bug - they can catch you now
- Mouse works on the menu
- F2 can restart the level if you can't catch someone (don't need to wait for the caught cutscene)
After the big Blood Maniac update, I'll be taking a little break and finishing up that found footage game :)

But my main goal for February is actually the steam release for Stay out of the House
I'm also going to be doing a new collection next month called 'Unfinished Worlds' where I dump random unfinished projects and experiments so you can check out the art and screw around.
