Nightripper - Full version plans
Added 2017-10-04 04:28:05 +0000 UTCHere are some things I have in mind for the full version of the game coming soon. Some may or may not make it. Let me know if you have any other suggestions
- Controller support. This is the big one. Working on that next and will release an update as soon as it's ready
- Added interiors and new textures / furnishings so the buildings look better
- Some more details on the exteriors - Billboards, more graffiti and other landmarks so you can find you're way around easier
- Maps + Street Signs - helps with not getting lost
- Compass so you can figure out what direction you're travelling
- More documents to find
- Some new cutscenes. Especially in the beginning and hopefully a new set piece in the middle for more of a sleazy vibe
- Fixed camera mode
- Some audio mixing improvements
- Ai improvements
- More ambient sounds
- Better VHS cover
- A game trailer

2017-10-06 00:47:59 +0000 UTCJust a few thoughts. Mind you though I haven't finished it yet: Sliding down the motel staircase when your not moving. Blu ray mode? Though Raw pretty much covers it. Better window textures so there not so repetitive for buildings. Tiny bit better optimisation. Over the shoulder button when being chased by the killer. Just so you can see how far away they are, and lets face it, it would look awesome and tense.

2017-10-05 01:07:23 +0000 UTCAdding street signs, and possibly street names, could be a good way to add a few references. Don't put too much furniture in the way in the interiors, we need to be running as fast and as uninterrupted as possible! :-P

2017-10-04 04:57:12 +0000 UTCWhen there was a shooting a few blocks away from my house and they taped off the whole block. Everybody had to go around. There was no getting through. I guess having people walk by could contaminate the crime scene. By the time she realizes the ripper is after her, it's too late to go back. I thought about adding a cop but it might break the desolate atmosphere. Let me reconsider

2017-10-04 04:41:53 +0000 UTCHmm... from playing what I have so far the only real thing that's really on my mind is why she didn't go under the police tape and walk to the other side past the police to her regular path home. I get it's a crime scene and there'd be no game without it, but it seems a bit silly - even for slasher standards - that she'd find another way home even with a serial killer on the loose. Maybe if there was a cop there to stop her it would be a bit more logical. Anyway, sorry, I'm nit picking.
