Weekly Update - Defeated

Hellllloooo Everyone! Stick didn't plug his laptop in last night so I'm trying to get this posted before she dies on me here at work! 95% of the weekend was great and we got a lot done, that last 5% wasn't so hot tho~

We managed to finish Monkee's boon black even after I realized I forgot the gold trim on the front but we managed to pull it off! Love when these Boon Helmets come together it's satisfying!

Now the big blunder, gavv. What a mess this turned into, first the new resin printer rocks and it did an amazing job on the lenses, but they didn't quite fit right and after a lot of fighting I did manage to get them somewhat in but not the best, in doing so I somehow pushed a screw into the front of the helmet so that was oof #1, oof #2 came when I was gluing the gem on and some of my accelerate for the super glue came out runny instead of spraying and made almost the entire fronts paint wrinkle. suffice to say she is dead which is a major bummer as we were so close. need to step back and figure out what to do next with it.

round 2 I lost was trying to get these boon violets done for Go Go Rangerstation this weekend. I ran out of purple so couldn't get the final coat on these 2 and the silver I put on the one for my daughter managed to crinkle, I'm not sure if I was rushing or that purple paint just doesn't like the enamel, it is krylon paint and I usually don't have an issue but I'm not sure. Going to try and run over the hob lob to get another can or two and see if I can recoat them tomorrow? I just don't trust this paint so now I'm gun shy about doing anything.

Kamen Rider Vice is close, I think a solid 10 mins during the week and we should be able to get it ready to clear and hopefully get it done in time for the weekend but its going to require some effort!

Update on the currently printing kakurangers, we have yellow, black and white printed and ready to start so that is exciting!

The Flashpink statue is sanded and primed! I hope to get a coat of white on it tomorrow on stream!

and Kyoryu Gold and Silver have been coming on well actually, kinda making up all the lines tho as we go since 3dcs files were rather shallow in that department but I'm hopeful!

So for being a downer, sticks just been stressed and was trying to con crunch and of course with anytime I rush I just feel further back then when I started!

Who will be going to ranger station Saturday?!
