Man, Back-On is a band you really should explore. They have a ton of songs I think would end up on your playlist. Their earlier stuff did sound different as they were more like a garage rap band. Their modern stuff is also great, just more polished and leans more into pop.
A ton of their music have been used in either openings or as inserts within a show.
For instance, they would go on to do an opening for the sequel season, "Gundam Build Fighters Try" called "Cerulean" that is even better than the opening you just listened to. They would even go on to do a song called "Infinity" for the opening for a Gundam game called "Gundam Breakers" that was released on the same CD for GBF's opening (I have that CD).
If you wanted an example of their earlier work, they have a song called "Chain" that was used for the opening of an anime called "AirGear"
In 2023, they would do the opening for Kamen Rider Gotchard called "Chemy X Story" that is very catchy. In the prior year for Kamen Rider Geats, they did a character insert song for when the secondary rider went evil and got a dark ultimate form. That song was called "Chair", silly name, but the song is also awesome.
I don't blame you for liking the OSTs on this show. The composer knocked it out of the park. I liked them so much I even imported the CDs for the soundtracks of GBF and GBFT and I still fire up that playlist occasionally even today.
Some of the OSTs you were rocking out to were...
Gunpla of the Week
Build Fight
The Crimson Comet (That was the very spanish flavored song used on Yuuki's fight in school.)
This is How We Do
Speed Star
Fairy Dance
Rival
Ones (I think) you haven't heard yet that are also amazing are...
Samurai's Edge
QuickAttack
Meijin ~Six Times The Passion Of Ordinary Flamenco~(Yuuki's second song, also spanish flavored)
PowerResonance
Allied Force
Well thanks for watching dude, I had a great time seeing you have a great time!
