Adam brought up 'Belly' which is a very stylish curio and the only film effort from music video director Hyper Williams. Worth watching for the opening scene, a blue-drenched heist at a nightclub set to Soul II Soul's 'Back to Life.' Criterion has aired it before, as well as 'Paid in Full', which is a pretty good NYC crime film set in the '80s.
