“Go for it” might be the best mic drop this podcast has ever had. Such a great episode. Can’t wait to read the book!

Thomas Matich

These two episodes are some of the best the podcast has had in a long long time

Marcelo

Yes!! You beat me to it

Keith campbell

Glad we have Sam documenting these film artists while they (and those who knew them) are still alive. His books are great, and these chats are a great accompaniments to the books. Thanks Bret and Sam!

Harrison Bergeron

Excited to hear - part one was great. Had no idea I could be this engaged in a stories about Francis Ford Coppola.

Thomas Rankin

Year end Palm Dior gift. Thank you❤️

Sértő-Radics Sarolta

Great episode. Terrible movie to watch. Numerous versions dont save it. The story about how it got made is more interesting. The moral of the story is make money outside of the movie business.

Stevan Popovic

Beautiful!!!!

Dave

Excellent, this type of show is exactly why I listen to Bret. Intelligent and entertaining!

Jim Weaver

Great episodes. One of Coppola’s later films that I think deserves more praise than it has received is TETRO. Have you seen TETRO Bret? Great cast, a simple story about family, dark family secrets, and how fame affects family. Gallo is excellent. Is it APOCALYPSE NOW? No but it certainly deserves mention IMO.

R. M.

Loved the book and this conversation.

Ivan K

What a fuckin episode. Go for it.

Iain

As a movie nerd, I enjoy these podcast episodes a lot. Years after Spielberg, I, too went CSULB as a Film student. Unlike Spielberg, I didn’t drop out — but I also didn’t become a famous director (though I do work in “The Industry”). Also, FFC’s brother August (father of Nic Cage) was a Prof. at CSULB, but not in the Film Dept.

Loved this chat. Sam and QT are great guests and foils for BEE. More movie talk and industry gossip in the new year please.

Brian James
