Ever consider Writer Caroline O’Donoghue as a guest. Her podcast is pretty good as well

Adam, Bret, I have two names in mind right now who I'd love to see on the BEE podcast and I think would easily connect with Bret AND the audience. 1. Gordon Gano and Brian Ritchie -- The Violent Femmes. I felt for the Femmes during my 90s teen years the way I think Bret in the 80s felt about The Replacements (yes, I'd also LOVE to see Tommy Stinson and Paul Westerberg on the pod' but I remember Bret years and years ago making that sound like a far fetched proposition... I'd be cool just hearing what Westerberg's biographer Bob Mehr (seek Trouble Boys, kids, I didn't even know one song from the band before I read the book. The f'd up rags to rags story of a Minneapolis post punk outfit that took its first step and missed the whole rung). I also want to see LIZ PHAIR. I feel like Bret and she would hit it off like a house on fire. +eyes glaze over -- because fire is like an animal. keep feeding the animal and there you got a friend for life. feed the animal, friends+

AFTER HENRY "This book is dedicated to Henry Robbins and to Bret Easton Ellis, each of whom did time with its publisher." Joan Didion, AFTER HENRY, 1992. I'm sorry for your loss. I still read the "White Album", for what I'm not sure but it seems to help.

Dana turned out to be one of the best guests.

I really enjoyed the Dasha episode. I'd never heard of her before, and now I've become a patron so I can hear "Red Scare." Merry Christmas, Bret!
