I was wondering about the lack of signature, and the fact that her hair is almost covered by the frame - might the painting have been cropped?

TWELVE DAYS since you posted this and Iβm the first person to comment on the frame you βjust happened to have lying aroundβ at the end there?! I practically barked like a seal with laughter when I recognized it. (And it really did look good with the painting!) I hope the client lets you know what they decide to use, assuming they donβt choose one from your stock.

I was wondering if you've ever been asked to conserve a painting before that could not be moved, like a mural, for instance. What would working on a project like that even look like?
