Is this podcast done? I didn't hear anything in the last episodes I got, so... confused??

I don’t have any new episodes either and am confused and feeling a bit peeved. I’m paying for content that I’m not getting…what is going on?

With all of the confusion over bonus episodes (I think the last one I found was the bonus for episode 253, from April 8), I've lost track. In my podcast app, the last regular episode I have is #257 from 6/2. There have been none since then, correct?

The lack of communication is the real problem here. If they said, "We'll be back in October!", we'd at least understand. My guess is that Dan got sucked into his new startup and can no longer find the time for RW; the tech startup lifestyle will do that to ya. I'm gonna give them a few more months of money, as thanks for past work, and if we haven't heard anything by then, I'll probably shut it off. RW content is so evergreen, if you're really thirsty for D&J you can relisten to old ones.

Did he indicate if the hiatus was open-ended?

I want to support this show, but no new episodes or announcement to what's going on, makes me reconsider support.

On Facebook, John said that Dan put the show on hiatus a couple of weeks ago.

I wouldn't mind if they weren't doing bonus content all the time, I enjoy it but I don't expect it. However, they have only made 5 regular shows in the last 3 months, with no communication to supporters/listeners. It's really disappointing.

Since this last Road Work Patreon post (April 17), there have only been three podcast episodes and no bonus material. I tried to reach out to Dan through here and through email because I had a lot of difficulty getting the RSS feed to work, but did not got a response in either place. I enjoy listening to John and Dan, but I have to say that this whole Patreon thing is a complete disappointment. I understand that a Patreon is essentially set up so you can support your favorite "content creators" or whatever, it's a gesture of support, but you should at least get *something* additional in return for your money when the Patreon explicitly says so. Dan wrote as part of this Patreon, "Each week, we will be releasing bonus content based on your questions, feedback, and ideas, and sometimes John will play a song." This is simply not true and doesn't appear that it has been true at any point in the recent past. In fact, they're not even releasing a *regular* podcast episode each week (or even on an average of every three weeks since this last April post), let alone releasing these weekly bonuses.

I’ve not seen a bonus episode since March 30th. What should I do?

Hi Dan and patrons, could someone confirm if there have been any bonus episodes after 253, or if that was the latest. Thanks!

Same deal here, thought I had it solved but also no bonuses since 253. Confused.
