If You Had an Issue Before Right Now...

This was pretty complex but it's kind of uncharted territory. I was super confused and canceled my patreon and re-did it over and still had trouble, but then I re-read the instructions and this is what solved it for me: 1. Go to the subscribe page on fireside https://roadwork.fireside.fm/subscribe 2. Put in your email address that is associated with your Patreon login (my patreon login was Facebook but my email used by Facebook worked) 3. Open the email you get from Fireside on your mobile device 4. Copy the link from email to your podcast player Delete your old feeds from your podcast player before you do this stuff, but also, remember to never touch the Patreon RSS feed link again, because it doesn't work and isn't being updated. Also, I tried this on my desktop and there's basically no way to add a new podcast subscription to Overcast via the web, so I had to do it all on my mobile device. Also, remember to right click or long-tap the RSS link in the Fireside email, because web browsers don't display RSS automatically any more and will give you weird errors that they can't be displayed.

Well, I'm out. I can spare 1$ as I did soon as Dan asked. But now my thanks for supporting the show isn't enough. I need to pay 4 more. I'd love to pay even more than that but I'm strapped tryig to pay off student loans and CC with ridiculous APRs. Farewell!

Thanks Dan - was not clear I had to go to Fireside to get email link of feed but works great in Overcast. … Patreon is a hot mess and I rarely come here.

Same issue for me in pocket casts

+1 for Pocket Casts issues. Previous custom feed stopped at 244, didn’t raven realize there were 10 eps since then.

Still not working. My feed only goes to 244. I cancelled and subscribed again and still same.

Thank you, Bart. My list (off a fresh-today fireside url) includes a bonus 251 but not the main episode 251.

I don’t know how to post screen caps, but now that it’s working for me (after not working previously), I’ve got this: Bonus episodes for 245 (1/27/22), 246 (2/3/22), 249 (2/24/22), 251 (3/11/22), and 252 (3/24/22).

Please screen cap or in some way show here in a patreon post what the complete episode list looks like if everything is working correctly. Should there be bonus content for each episode going back to last year?

Pocket Casts doesn't work properly because of how they de-duplicate feeds (title, author, website URL, and thumbnail URL are the same). I had reached out to Pocket Casts and they suggested using the itunes:block tag to fix it. I reported this to Dan and he said he wasn't able to add the tag to feeds.

In spite of all of this, I think Dan is COOL and RSS is DOPE and Spotify can KISS my BOOTY
