Update: Moving On! (2019/06/15)

Hallo all!

Fantastic news, again!

Dicy's been accepted for the job so we'll be moving out in less than a month from now! ^_^

I'm so stoked to finally be getting back out on our own!  This will be a great opportunity for all of us, and I'm looking forward to having my own walls and doors again!

So, currently I'm finishing up one of my longer running pieces and I should have that posted up soon!  Next week I'm going to be working on a private piece for one of Squeakers' relatives that I traded for a new pair of glasses, so I'll be focusing on that and after that, I'll be going full bore into commissions when I'm not calling people to talk about housing!  It'll be a full few weeks all told!

My general plan remains the same, however!

1. Work on stuff
2. Find a place
3. Collect money for the move
4. Move
5. Close commissions
6. Finish all my backlog
7. Work on personal projects 

Currently I'm going to be taking commissions until Dicy receives his first paycheck or the first pay period thereafter.

This will either be July 1st, July 16th or August 1st.  I'll assess the situation at those times, and see just what's going on to decide whether or not I need to keep things open.

Once the commissions are closed, however, I'm not opening them up until AT LEAST October.  I may open them up for Spooky Sketches for Halloween this year, but we'll have to see how it goes.

Once the commissions are closed, we'll burn them down until the list is clean and pristine and then, I'm going to dive back into Various Happenings.  I'm so sorry for the stop and go this year.  Life has just been very tumultuous and for those of you who are eagerly awaiting to continue the story, I will not let you down.

Hopefully this will be the last (involuntary) break for a long time.

In addition, I've got some fun stuff in store for you.  Dicy and I are working on an adult action adventure comedy called "Tomomi Saves the World" which some of you may have seen bits and pieces of, and the three of us are working on an all-ages sci-fi adventure called "The Adventures of Clara Cosmos", both of which I am very excited about.

They're both in the writing stages right now, but I've posted some teaser art over in the VIP room on the Discord, which you can get in if you're a $5 patron over on my Patreon.    I'll also be posting the finished concept sheets there for all patrons soon before I release more material to the public in the months leading up to Tomomi and Clara's respective launches.  I don't know when that will be, because I've got a lot of work to make up to Various Happenings fans, but I'll let you all know dates for all of the above when I have them.

So yeah, get settled, get everyone their commissions, dive back into VH and get some of these other projects going!

It's going to be busy, but soon I'll be able to turn ALL my energy towards creating awesome stuff you guys and gals!  And I am READY!  I can't tell you how ready I am!
