Personal Art - Lulabelle LaVette

A cheerful and tricky jester girl, Lulu is a regular at the meetings of the Fallen Council as well as on earth and around Sheol in general, teasing and mocking some of Sheol's most powerful demons on behalf of the populace's entertainment.  She's a strange creature, lusty and good humored, unconcerned for her own safety and nigh indestructible, she's one of the more regular sources of imps in Dis, and along with her games of chance, runs a 'reproduction for hire" service for those who would summon her.

It's unclear what she is exactly, or where she came from in the first place.  Some say that she, like Diana, was an ascended imp, lucky enough and savvy enough to gain power to become a greater demon.  Others say that she was a young girl back in the middle ages who had gotten roped into a magical pact in a demonic circus and was abused into near psychosis before being freed.  Still others say that she's an ancient primordial creature, as old as the earth itself, or maybe a being from another dimension who can use portals to cross time and space.

Lulu attests that all these things are both true, and not true, and it's impossible to get the real story from her, whatever that may be.  She seems to be a fairly new addition to the roster down below... and yet, it seems like she's always been there, popping up now and again with her little circus of imps before disappearing into the aether, her motivations unclear, if she has any at all.

A warm-up that got out of hand.  Though I do love drawing the little jester.  Still not sold on a lot of details, so I decided to go with a darker, more subdued color scheme this time.  I think it looks nice, though it makes her look a bit more devious.   That might just be the smile, though.
