Possible Patreon Changes (Tiers and Goals)! [Please read and comment!]

So hey, everyone!

As any of you that have been here for a while know, I'm not the best at this whole Patreon thing.  Things have been rocky, to say the least, and I know I haven't been the best about putting up cool stuff for you guys.  

Work has also gotten in the way and I've been having to focus on stuff to keep my head above water, which has taken away attention from the comic and other projects.

I want this Patreon to work, and I want you all to have a good time here as well, as a thanks for your support.  It's thanks to you all that I've been able to keep doing this as long as I can, and I want to be able to do my original works for you all.

So, bearing that in mind, I've been looking at different people's Patreons, what they do and what sort of pieces of the process would be cool to pull out and show you guys.  How do I make tiers feel good?  What sort of goals should I push towards?  Et cetera.

So, let's break things down.

Tiers

So first thing's first, I want to re-introduce tiered support back into the Patreon.  Mixing it with lifetime rewards the first time around was a bad idea and I just wasn't able to give people what they asked for.  I felt bad, and I was offering too much extra work as a reward.  I simply couldn't keep up with it all.

I don't feel as bad anymore about things, and I feel like I've got a better handle on what will create more work for me and what won't, as well as what people might think is cool stuff to see.

So yeah, as far as what we got, I'm going to bring the tiered system back again, and we'll see where we get with it.  I know this will break things up a bit, but I hope I'll be able to produce enough content to make everyone happy.  These are my ideas, so let me know what you all think!

Little Foxes - $1 Tier

You get your name on the Hall of Friends (which I haven't updated in forever and is due to be!  I'm going to go back and fix that this week when I update my ledger, then I'll update it every month afterwards.  I'm also removing the amounts from the list and making them more... general.  That way we don't have to put people on the spot.)  Just a general thanks for your support and help.

Access to collections (like the collected Halloween packs), the secret gallery (more on that below), and see my stream warm-up doodles and voting doodles before before anyone else.  Also, stuff that ends up in other tiers will eventually be packaged up once it's relevant and you'll be able to download it all at once, so don't worry about missing out.

Friendly Foxes - $3 Tier

Get to vote on my monthly originals, as well as any future votes for fanart pin-up pieces, wallpapers or what goes in the secret gallery!

You also get to see the Various Happenings pages (and any other productions) as they're finished!  

(If I can finish them before the day they're supposed go up, this will actually be really cool! XD)

Fun Foxes - $5 Tier

Get to see pages in progress, outlines, notes, and design sketches of current and future characters, locales and projects on the FSS VIP Discord!  Yep!  I will make a discord server for this and you'll be invited to indulge in lore, secrets and shenanigans there with me and my associates!

Cool Foxes - $10 Tier

In addition to everything up to this point, you'll get a monthly wobble of any character you like!  They're cute! o.o!

Fanclub Foxes - $25 Tier

Everything up to this point, plus a colored SotS-style single character sketch every other month!  Just a way of giving back to you!

Super Foxes - $50 Tier

(Limit 4)

A once a month, we'll set up a 90-minute call where you can request my help on... whatever! Need help with your art?  Need help with your writing?  Business?  Personal advice? (I'm not qualified for psychiatric advice, though, just so you know.)  I'll help you out!  It doesn't matter if you're a beginner or just looking for another set of eyes, I'll be happy to chat for a bit!  You'll also get a special thanks on the front page of the site for that month as well!

Goals

$100 - Add to the Secret Gallery

Every month over this goal, we'll add to the Secret Gallery!  It's a gallery of my old works, scanned notebooks and other legacy stuff and I'll work on adding between 8 and 20 pieces a month to it for as long as I have pieces to add to it!

$250 - Fanart Voted Pin-Ups

We're going to keep the pin-ups at the $250 mark!  I think they're a good thing that people like to vote on and people love their fanart stuff, certainly.  Plus I don't get to do a lot of fanart.

$500 - Wallpapers

So I've moved the Wallpapers to this slot.  I was debating about this or the pin-ups at the $250 slot and I decided to move the wallpapers here simply because of the amount of effort each of them has taken.  I do love them, but I'm not the kind of person to slap a character on a blank background and call it a day.  I hope you all understand and perhaps we'll get back there soon enough.  We can only hope!

$750 - Video Recordings

Up from the $500 spot, the video recordings I still feel are an interesting way to show people how things work.  It's one of those things I love watching with other artists that I follow and I know a lot of people really enjoy that kind of thing.  I nixed the 12-hour stream because... frankly I don't think I can do it anymore.  My health isn't the best and doing a request stream for that long would be a great strain.  It's just not something I want to do.

$1000 - Community Voted Project

Sort of a sidegrade, this doesn't preclude an extra VH page per week, but rather it's one of several ideas that could be voted on and contributed to.  This also includes comics with Jo or Yuki, more No Pressure strips, illustrated stories or additions to VH like character commentary or animations!  There's a lot of things we can do, and at the  beginning of the month (or whenever the previous project is finished) we can vote on what to do next, in addition to your regular supply of Various Happenings!

That's what I've got for now!  I feel like this is a strong, reasonable set of tiers and goals!  Doable, and not too intensive to me, while still being fun and interesting for everyone involved.

But, if you feel differently, let me know!  Tell me in the comments!  Give me your own suggestions and I'll think them over!

If there aren't any changes/objections/better ideas before say... the Monday after Thanksgiving, I'll go ahead and make the changes so you all have time to adjust your pledges.  But if there's a bit of discussion or I'm not sold on these still by that time, I'll wait the following month and just make the changes during December so they take effect at the 1st of the year.
