Alright. I’m feeling a bit better, things are going a little better even though I’m not sure what’s going on with the car just yet and I’m feeling a bit more confident. Hopefully I’ll get used to having a proper bedtime and I’ll be feeling better all around. I even made a nifty checklist for myself, so we’re ready to go!

(8/20) Commissions are OPEN!! Two (2) slots left!

Saving up for rent and stuff! The next few months are going to require a good bit of cash flow, since we have to pay for Dicy’s final semester at school before we get that sweet reimbursement back in December so I’d like to make sure that everything is secure.

Commissions are open! I’ve got two slots left for characters/portraits/character sheets so if you haven’t gotten anything from me, or want to get in line for more stuff, now is a good time!

If you still want a conscript stream done and no one else takes the character slots, I might consider it! Just drop me a line.

If you want to commission me, send me a message and we’ll discuss it! If I run out of slots, I’ll put you on the call list so I can get to you once something opens up!

If I manage to work down ALL my commissions this month (there’s a lot, I know) then I’d like to open up Sketch on the Spot again on Fridays with some new modified rules! So we’ll see how that goes! I’m hoping! Also, being a certain holiday is approaching... well... you know how that goes.

(8/6) Various Happenings ... updating sporadically, again! (D’oh!)

So yeah, I jumped the gun a little bit. Rent busted us and we need money for groceries and that kind of thing, so my paid work is going to come first. I have to make my clients happy and as much as I love the comic, it takes a back seat to keeping the bills paid. It makes me sad, but for now, I’m going to have to work on it slowly and just post it when I have a page finished. So I’ll do it when I can.

I feel a lot better about the way things are heading. Yeah, sometimes random crap happens, like you get sick or your car breaks down. But you can get through all that. It’s happened before and it’ll happen again and you get through it. That’s just how it goes.

We just have to make it around the next corner and a whole new host of possibilities will open up.
