When Should the Next Release Be?

As soon as my artist gives me a couple new images, I will have completed the main task I wanted to accomplish: adding Griffin, Jessica, Raven and Morgan paper dolls. This will require the game to be restarted.
This got me thinking. If the user has to restart anyway, it would be a good time to clean up some of the code and add some quality of life features.
For example, someone suggested changing how your football stats get penalized after transformations and adding maximums (so a Courtney who’s 5 foot 2 with big boobs and long nails won’t be able to get to a 100 rating even if she practices).
Another feature which was suggested was letting players start the game from a certain point instead of making them play through the beginning. Right now, that’s not possible because my code checks whether they’ve been to certain passages. But if I replaced those checks with variables, I could add that feature.
I’m going to leave it up to my subscribers. Do you want to wait longer for those features, or would you rather get the release sooner, even if it meant having to restart again if I did end up adding those features?

Right now football and athletics are very strongly tied to Corey and masculinity. Agreed that a full femmed Courtney shouldn't be playing football, but I would like to see recognition of female athletics, be more on the cheer, swim, or even a field hockey or soccer team. Maybe that's more a request for content that shows ‘Barbie Doll come to life’ (which is not a criticism, I'm just using your phrasing) is not the only feminine path? How does that sound?

2022-07-27 19:16:44 +0000 UTCI think the idea about limiting a feminine Courtney’s athleticism is essential so that way a Courtney whose a Barbie Doll come to life isn’t a better QB than Corey. I like the idea of having customizable jumping off points because it would make new content easier to explore, but I could see where it would make adding new content to the beginning (like Morgan’s new introduction or Raven’s whole rebrand) an absolute nightmare.
