Sunderance Act 2: Chapter 1 - Aegis Page 12

"Bullet proof" really just means bullet resistant. It still hurts like a bitch.

Poor Nick. Enjoy!

Don't forget to donate if you can (if you aren't already). We actually had a pretty big drop recently and every little bit helps. We have turned up our goal to reflect this need for further income.

Thanks to our new Patreons! We appreciate the support

Thanks to all of the standing Patreons who stick by us through this continued project of love and (hopefully) great Noir storytelling and art.

Yeahno. Still not there. Gave it a good long time and two different browsers. Dunno.

Page 11 is there, as well. It might take a minute to load. I think the file sizes are larger. :)

Page 11 missing?

Dang, poor Nick

Tiger Bonsu

She's always slept next to a window. I do find it amusing that you think shadowy assassins and sword fighting is low-key compare to your standard SWAT team entry scene. :)

Kulkum And TheWyvernsWeaver

While I am enjoying the story and comic overall, I gotta say, the last several pages have had me wondering if we've transitioned into some sort of (different) nightmare realm. By that I mean either this is a dream or we are now in the kind of insane world that John Wick lives in. (And yes, I totally got the kevlar suit reference way back when.) This just feels like such an extreme escalation, from individual hitmen and shadowy assassin sword fights, to what now looks like a SWAT/Delta team loudly storming their new safe(?)house without any warning or interdiction from the Administrator or Nick's considerable allies and paranoid security measures. I realize this is a dystopia Zootopia, but so many things still feel off to me. Like the fact that they were sleeping next to a window.

Poor Nick indeed! That looked like it hurt a TON! I hope the worst is over now; it looks like it is. Amazing work, both of you!

Colonel Arbuckle

As a person who has been shot while wearing body armor, I can attest that this is the case. At best he's gonna have a MASSIVE bruise over his entire upper body for at least a month and a couple cracked bones (presumably ribs). With a If it was below the ribs, there's still a very high likelihood of some serious internal damage. Sounds like he could use some serious R&R in the country for awhile. Maybe on a quiet farm someplace?
