Peace's father is such a piece of shit and his intentions towards his only biological son are so strange. Did he and the evil adopted son plot to have Peace hurt/killed at the heist by those men? Why? Because he' hates this silly gang life? Because he's gay? Because he likes Sun? He pulled Peace out of his life/school just to force a life on him that he doesn't want and now wants to have him harmed because he doesn't live up to his bloodthirsty expectations. He already has two adopted psychos who are only too happy to be evil criminals. Just leave Peace alone.

2025-06-16 22:36:13 +0000 UTCSun's already accidently kissed Peace though, on the ground in very much the same way Kong kissed him, but it's only now that Sun's feeling triggered. I don't think Sun had feelings for Kong, or else they wouldn't have only ever been friends. So he must just be feeling survivor's guilt. He never looked at Kong in that way on his own, unlike with Peace, which was a crush at first sight. Poor Kong. This series takes place in a tough world. I think the eventual hot and heaviness and ride-or-die love between Sun and Peace that's coming is going to be worth the wait. But the story is intense and intriguing enough around it, like you said.
