Charlie knowingly taking Babe's senses is a way bigger deal to me than it seems to be to others, it basically is a huge body consensual issue and I am surprised most viewers blew past it so quickly. I think it effects the dynamic of their entire relationship.

It would also explain how Tony has a similar experiment going on that is trying to do the opposite of theirs. Anyway, that's my wild guess for this week. Can Willy teleport? Or just move really fast? His reactions being quick enough to handle the car easily even when under intense pressure, might be the thing that gives him the edge while racing. Similar to Babe's abilities where he was finetuned to everything around him while driving because of his heightened senses. If Tony has the ability to come back from the dead, they definitely need the drug that takes abilities away more than ever. Or (and this is my preference) Charlie's abilities evolve where he can simply take someone's abilities without having to slowly syphon them away like he had to do with Babe.

2025-05-18 14:54:58 +0000 UTCWhat I find toxic is how Babe gets all the heat for being a bad boyfriend but before Charlie, he was just enjoying his life. Enters Charlie. He schemed his way into babe's life, betrayed him in the worse way, and then he stole his sense. Yes, he did what he could to redeem himself but how can you ever be fully redeemed when you stole a huge part of who Babe was and has not added value to him in any other way but the bedroom. Yes, Charlie is sweet and sensitive, however, he is not strong enough to balance out what he stole from Babe. you can't keep taking and giving nothing in return. If you go play Papa then be about it and man up. Charlie is too fluff. The way he allows Willie to be comfortable enough to get into Babe's breathing space in his presence is beyond me. Instead of slapping the piss out of Willy, he cries about his lack of confidence. Mind you, Babe is the one struggling internally to hold it all together. If Babe still had his sense, trust and believe Willy would have gotten punched in the face a long time ago. Also, Charlie needs to step it up in the bedroom. Again, if Babe had his sense, he would be bored to death with Charlie. Bottom line, they need to give Babe his sense back so we can get back to the Pit Babe we fell in love with. This babe without his sense is a simp and lacks personality.
