So somber that their idea of ending on a positive note is death, a funeral, and the dad not getting a real comeuppance. I'm bloodthirsty so I wanted to see him face real consequences or at least get a hint at his full public humiliation and we got none of that. At least give me him crying in a corner in regret, but instead we get him standing in the foyer looking around at the empty house for three seconds before his next victim shows up. "Oh god, they're about to have noodles." made me lol
