It will be interesting to dive deeper and to see if he has ever had sex with anyone or if he has ever enjoyed it with anyone. The fact that he wasn’t planning to get married or be with anyone else is kinda of telling for me. If you actually had sexual desires I don’t see how one could make this kind of commitment.
