I recently had to replace my laptop and I lost my save file in the transfer, is there any way to get an up to date save with all events completed?

Got here from @stoptweetingmia as well! You can get to it by clicking on the Patreon Builds tag in Posts, then at the top of this post is a link that reads "Patreon access for Hardcoded - Patreon Version". That'll take you to itch.io for the download.

I'm working through this myself right now, too. Try clicking on the My Membership link above and check the about section at the bottom of the page. There's a link to a download page (that I haven't tried yet).

How do I download the game? I just pledged (thanks to @stoptweetingmia's shoutout on Twitter), and am stoked to play. :-)

It never occurred to me to add cowboy hats... yes I will absolutely add one at some point :D

apparently, something is causing there to be a delay of a day or 2 before it realized you've pledged. Im so sorry its doing this :/ I contacted itch support earlier, we'll see what they say. Till then, i think you just have to wait a bit and try again.

hey, i'm a bit curious - will we get the outfit codes that the contest winners came up with? or are the codes only available to the winners?

Not sure why, but when I boot this update a sort of DOS looking prompt pops up behind the game with all the info and coordinates of the game. When I enter, texture spawns, scene transitions and ends stuff like that.

At least on Windows 10, user data can be found at: C:\Users\YOURUSERNAMEHERE\AppData\Roaming\Godot\app_userdata\HARDCODED Where YOURUSERNAMEHERE should be replaced with your windows username (you can find this in C:\Users if you're unsure)

I'm on mac and I just downloaded the catalina version. I haven't checked everything out yet, but when I went into HC's wardrobe menu, the new Beryl background just wasn't there, it was just a solid grey background, and the new hairstyle from the last update or so was also gone (looked like HC had a shaved head). And when I went to HC's inbox, I clicked on the message from Magdalena and it was just blank.

I'm havin this same issue! Doesn't impact gameplay or anything but if you close the console window it shuts the game down too.

Hi! Just so you know, when I launch this new version I get a second window pop up (looks like a console kinda thing) with the following text. If I close that window, the whole game closes: WARNING: _png_warn_function: iCCP: known incorrect sRGB profile At: drivers\png\image_loader_png.cpp:66 it's the Windows version, downloaded from itch.io, I've redownloaded it three times in case it was a corrupted download but it's still happening (I do have previous saves) Edit: I also tried "deleting" all the save data in appdata; I still get the error (Also, not wanting to backseat game dev but I found this on google; might be helpful? https://docs.godotengine.org/en/2.1/learning/workflow/assets/managing_image_files.html#fixing-pngs-iccp-chunk )
