Good afternoon Patrons,

Current plans today is to head toward Childress, Texas, ASAP and reforecast. Parameters in New Mexico caught my eye this morning as a viable tornado target. In Texas, I’m expecting an enormous amount of chasers based on HRRR runs. If this verifies around Paducah or Silverton, where there are very limited roads, it could lead to pointless chasing conditions similar to last night near Arnett Oklahoma. It seems there is an extra level of desperation in the conga line with many many frustrated chasers who own the road. So perhaps the lesser parameters in New Mexico, along with less chasers would result in a higher percentage of quality footage. One scenario that could work around the red river is that the storm goes up where there is a grid scattering chasers with options rather than bottlenecking everybody at one four-way stop that in concert with a slow moving storm and may magic could be the obvious best target and chances For seeing a burrito supreme. In conclusion, I am currently split 50-50 between a Texas cap rock storm, and New Mexico. I will likely choose Texas because I’m already here.
