March 15 High Risk Tornado Event Today

Hello Patrons,

Big day potentially! Incredibly high shear and tornado parameters lay over the Deep South. SPC is responding with very strong wording for long tracking violent tornadoes. That being said, they also say “possibly.” Sometimes / often these high parameter events are offset by linear storm modes / messy scenarios. Hopefully that is the case, however I’d wager it’s not this time.

There is no obvious target today so I think I’m just going to try and find a clean Storm somewhere. I’m already telling myself to let the storms go and live to fight those beautiful cyclic supercells later in the year.

Everyone living in the target area should pay attention to the event today. Chasers, don’t kill yourself and good luck! I’ll try to respond with updates but am expecting an all day white knuckle chase.
