I thought it would be fun to build around Roxanne, Starfall Savant as a commander, as she essentially pays for her own commander tax, but the problem was I wasn't finding any good red or green flickers. So Norin, Swift Survivalist is great for that deck! Especially as I'll want to be haphazardly swinging Roxanne at my opponents with no regard for her safety.

I've been playing kitchen table commander with friends that im reconnecting with through magic. Needless to say jarvis mentioning it in this weeks ep got me here before finishing the ep 😆

2024-09-11 19:42:15 +0000 UTCmy mtg hyperfocus got re-started with the bloomburrow set so I'm excited to have this with you guys. i really like how you'll point out a cool card and then give examples of how it could be used in decks.... sometimes i state at cards blankly like "wtf is this for" so hearing you guys explain it like that is expanding my ability to look at them that way.

2024-09-11 05:25:53 +0000 UTCso, while undead sprinter does look quite good and i imagine it'll be great in standard and rakdos aggro in pioneer - it is worth noting that since it doesn't have flash you can't play it on an opponents turn (unless you have leyline of anticipation or some other flash provider on field already)

The thought of that genuinely made me so overwhelmed with happiness I flapped like I was trying to fly away (and also actually cried but that's less fun). YouTube has been my hyper fixation for a long time and this podcast (and Jarvis content in general) has been a huge era for me these past couple years. MTG has also been one of my hyper fixations since I was like 10 so when the two come together it always blows my mind and makes me so so damn happy. I love this podcast so much. I seriously just spent like 2 hours writing a comment over on YouTube based on about 5 sentences they said towards the end of the episode lol. Annnyway, I should probably stop now because otherwise I will keep typing to the end of time but I just had to comment something because this podcast and these 2 dorks mean so much to me
