(Im 27 now 😬) I could run miles some days but then I take my dog out for a walk and I cant walk for 3 days. No inflammation or anything. The pain could last a few days or keep coming back regularly for months. I’ve gone to dozens of doctors with no sign of a visible problem. Led to alot of adults thinking i was faking. Saying so to my face. So if you figure anything out lmk lol But also I lived in a two story apartment for a year and I was down and out for months so I feel your pain.

Thankfully a week after it happened my fiancé came to visit me from Italy and he took care of me. But it was humbling and I can't imagine how hard life is for people with reduced mobility.

I literally have a trashcan in every room of my apt because if a trashcan isn’t close by and I’m in Sad Mode™ I won’t take the trash to the next room to throw it way and it’ll just sit there. The cans all small waste paper basket size, so when I take out the trash I throw all the small bags into one big bag and throw that away. Saves my place from looking like a landfill.

I called her to let her know that I had just been hit (it was maybe 4 minutes after school got out) and she had me on speaker phone with her office because she was in a meeting. I said I got hit by a car, she said "No you didn't." I said I did in fact get hit by a car, she told me to stop kidding around. I finally just handed the phone to the EMS worker on scene and had them tell my mom, but the initial shocked parent reaction really resonated with me. We love a good silly parent reaction to an accident

I think it does a great job of eliminating the gate keeping that can often be associated with this culture and I would totally Love it! If y'all did like a 5 minute night segment on some random sports event that happened that week just to hear y'all talk about it! You guys are the best.
