Change to subscription plan and iOS tax no longer apply to US base patrons

But today I want to share to all patrons that no longer apply!
Accord to court ruling https://www.theverge.com/news/659246/apple-epic-app-store-judge-ruling-control Apple must now allow apps to offer U.S. based users checkout options outside of Apple's in-app purchase system (which includes the 30% Apple fee)—something that was previously prohibited under Apple's App Store requirements.
Here's what this means:
Patreon’s checkout option—which avoids Apple’s 30% fee—is now the default checkout option for U.S. based fans making membership purchases in the iOS app.
Your U.S. fans now see the price you set without Apple’s fee automatically added in, just like they would on web or Android.
When your U.S. fans use Patreon’s checkout, you’ll have faster payouts, because you are no longer subject to Apple’s 75 day hold on payouts.
I should have made this announcement since May 2025 but I think was caught up with something during that time.
I'm not sure about patrons outside the US but this is a great news to US base patrons!
