How can I help?

Hey everyone!

Just had a baby last week so I'm taking some time to enjoy being with him and adjusting to having a newborn at home but I wanted to check in with everyone here and ask, how can I help?

Is there any questions about any back-office stuff or maybe a certain technique in C4D?

Maybe it is an advice I can give you on a specific situation you are going through?

Let me know!

Thank you Felipe! And hats off to you man! 5 kids is a lot 😂 That's a great idea! Have you seen the beer project I made in Octane? Condensation didn't come out 100% as I wanted but it was a good exercise and it would be pretty much the same to do it in Redshift. But rest assured more bottle renders are on my list for sure!

Gracias!

Hey man! Congrats on your 2nd kid. I have four and going to have my 5th soon! I would love to see you creating a condensation studio shot in a bottle of beer. This type of projects I still don't know how to do. Thanks!

Thank you Yosmar! This is one of the things I go over on my Back-Office video and while it's unfortunate, it happens to all of us. Best advice I can give is to not let that affect you. Just know that it happens and you can always check back in afyer a few weeks/months to keep that conversation going. Actually just today I received an email from a studio that ghosted me for over 8 months asking if I could help with a project, and this is after they had reached out about art directing a video and after a few emails they just dissapeared. All in all, it happens, they might reach back out and if not you can always reach out to them and stay in touch AND you also continue to reach out to other studios. There's enough out there for all of us to work with. Hope that helps!

Congrats!! I wanted to ask, how do you handle when a studio emails you, you reply and then they disappear, does it happen often, eventually they contact you again?

Yósmar Díaz

Awesome dude. Hope there’s a way to make it an easier process. Looking forward to seeing more

That's a good way to look at it, however it comes down to having the time to not only work on the full length tutorial but also on these short form videos...but that's something I definitely try to do and you can see ive posted a couple Quicktips on tiktok and instagram too!

Jesus Suarez

I personally think short form is a great way to the word out to amplify to outreach and spread the word on platforms like TikTok etc. A person like myself would refer to good short form breakdowns of this sort as easy to follow and candidly make it look a lot easier than it is. Haha. I’d almost want to do a quick “in summary” per video that would concentrate the key parts of the tutorial or just go over what was learned.

Appreciate it my friend!

Jesus Suarez

Those are good suggestions. I'll definitely put that on my list!

Jesus Suarez

Good suggestions! Have you checked some of project breakdowns here on Patreon? I think most of what you are after I have already touched on! Round of quicktips could be a cool video as well. Need to get that list going

Jesus Suarez

Thank you Daniel!

it would be interesting to see the same product visualization with different lighting styles! high contrast with lots of black shadows, one totally lit with diffuse shadows (like a cosmetic product shot) and one more artistic

Congrats!!

I would love to get a round of quick tips if Possible. More specifically I would love to get a sense on how you approach texturing early on into a project and/or how you go about making style frames if you do that at all. Even if it’s not methodical I would be interested in order of operations for you. Where are you first starting and where does that lead us.

Nick Ito

Dude!!!! Congrats!
