That was also a borstal and a refugee deportation centre. You can't deny it's on-brand for this sceptered isle.

The comparison to a Bond villain lair isn't bad, but I think there's an even closer match. Fine hotels and art shows, techbro offices with a "longevity research clinic," (possibly hosting a war criminal wanted for genocide) all inside a converted Napoleonic fortress / prison? This is a Hitman level
