Sonic 2: Goodbye Forever - 1992 was released!

As you saw at the end of the credits, that's only one zone of the planned Sonic 2 in ?? minutes ANIMATED.

because such a video would take nearly dozens of months to make, we decided to upload Emerald Hill Zone as a standalone animation separate from the rest of the game. I could just name it "Sonic the Hedgehog 2 [Part 1] in ?? minutes just like i did with Gold and Smash Bros.. though i don't like these longer names at all. Yuri suggested Goodbye Forever as the title for no much reason other than it "sounds cool." (it does, right?)
Other name contestants were Sonic 2: Cultural Shock and just Sonic 1992. I still like Cultural Shock a lot, i even considered changing it to that after the premiere, but because this video is exploding on the algorithm already I better just leave it like that.

I feel like i should share some production stuff here too, right?

Production stuff!!

Most of the time, our "storyboards" are just sketches done in either flash or paper just so we won't forget something we thought it was funny. When one of us sketch one of these, we begin discussing how it can be polished it by either cutting shots or changing them.
Here's an example of a sketch storyboard Yuri initially made, then the same storyboard after I made him some notes.

The Music!

the song used is called is a custom Sonic 2 arrangement of Swim Swim Eat, made by Renard in 2005. I asked my younger brother, Edupq, to make it for this video. I also asked him if he could make a segment of the music that sounded "evil and gross" specifically for the Eggman sequence, which he did! I'd say he absolutely nailed it.

Edu wanted me to make some kind of album cover so he could upload the song on Youtube. I did 4 of them for him to choose.
