Endometriosis Treatment

Endometriosis is a medical condition where tissue similar to the lining inside the uterus, called endometrium, starts to grow outside the uterus. This condition affects >175 million women of reproductive age worldwide.
It has been estimated to affect 2.5–3.3% of all women of childbearing age, but its reported frequency differs widely depending on the type of population studied. Some studies say it can go up to 7%.
Pain is the most recognizable symptom. This can include painful periods, pain with intercourse, pain with bowel movements or urination, and chronic pelvic pain.
Other symptoms can include excessive bleeding, fatigue, diarrhea, constipation, bloating, or nausea, especially during menstrual periods.
As a consequence of these symptoms, women with endometriosis have a reduced quality of life with mental health issues and difficulties in personal relationships.
Treatment options for endometriosis pain symptoms include nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), narcotics, contraceptives, steroid hormone therapy, gonadotropin releasing hormone (GnRH) agonists and antagonists, and surgery.
Available treatment options are primarily for symptom improvement and do not necessarily cure disease or completely resolve a patient’s pain in all cases. Because they can be life-altering, produce adverse effects, and may not completely or just temporarily resolve symptoms, women can go potentially through various treatments during the course of their disease.
While the exact cause of endometriosis isn't certain, possibilities include retrograde menstruation (where menstrual blood flows back into the pelvic cavity instead of out of the body), embryonic cell transformation, surgical scar implantation, and more.
This field will deal with the tissue outside the uterus, bringing the organ back to its original state, and add some additional healing to the region. Use it 3 to 5 times a day.

2023-09-25 00:00:02 +0000 UTCWhat? 😶 🥲 What 🙂 Thank you! Thank you! 🙂 I'm looking forward to surprising my doctor, who said it can't be cured (and proceeded to prescribe significantly expensive treatment and procedures just for starters, that I decided to 'let go and let God'). Oh my God :)
