Also - fun fact - in the dvd commentary when the first Skelly pops out of the grave, the director says something along the lines of 'we thought it was a temporary prop, but no it was the final look' with a heavy sigh.

2024-08-08 22:02:53 +0000 UTCI fricking adore this movie. My wife and I throw a RotLD party every 3rd of July for 20+ years. And I love that you gave Mark Venturini a spotlight as Suicide. While some folks call him spooky, I always see him as one of the true selfless characters in the movie. Like, think about it: the punks call him for a ride, and he drops everything to use his last bit of gas to help them out. He also has the flares and tools to get into the graveyard so they can have a good time. He tries to express some deep feelings and no one cares. In fact, now that they've gotten what they want out of him, ithe punks just ignore Suicide during the party. No one really talks to him except when they get bored. And that pisses him off! Like, when a bored Trash tries to boink him, Suicide explodes with anger yelling "have some damn respect for the dead." But the truly best moment vindicating Suicide as the selfless super-bro is when he runs in blind to save Tina. He was the first down and was ready to throw down on anyone who was hurting his friend. Poor Suicide - you were a misunderstood, wholesome, badass.
