I'm spending the day just printing and wrapping the last prints and the only things after that I gotta do is publish and test if everything works well, so hopefully we'll have the shop up by the mid to end of November!
I'm desperately hoping to get back to drawing tomorrow though haha I've been falling asleep at like 4 am for the past 3 days saying "this is the day I finish everything for the shop" but it never is. It never, ever is hahahah
It's all very fun though <3 I'm extremely proud of everything I've been able to build and create this past year, especially after the absolute dreadful 2022-2023 when I was wondering if I was even gonna make it to the other side. To look at how bad the burnout was and how far we've come, it's just so beautiful <3 And I seriously couldn't have done it without you guys
I'm always so sappy about this topic but I've been working on this story alone for the majority of my life. To have people here who are genuinely so interested and to have this little community here that essentially allowed me to even create a shop without having to worry if I'm losing out on my savings when money is obviously tight for everyone is just absolutely a privilege I cannot even imagine how I'll ever repay you for <3

Exactly, you're so right about that! It's so often that we forget looking at art as if it's actual work that requires energy, even when it's good energy, so I believe you're totally right about this <3 You're genuinely the sweetest thing, I cannot thank you enough for these kind words!! They mean the world to me, especially these past few days that have been slowed down due to all the shop stuff ❤️ Genuinely I'm gonna remember this forever, thank you SO MUCH for your endless support 🥹❤️ I hope you tell yourself the same things about your own project cause gosh you make so many amazing things and I hope you don't let burnout stop you from expanding your project ❤️

2024-11-12 09:32:33 +0000 UTCI know what you mean 100% ❤️🩹 I have the exact same feeling I’m not doing enough art/writing etc. but there’s going to be days where you accomplish more and days where you accomplish less. Sometimes you gotta step back too, and just look at everything you’ve done already cause I mean you’ve made countless artworks for your characters, you’ve gotten a ton of stuff accomplished in terms of writing the book series, you made an entire website, you make animations (that are absolutely beautiful and of the best quality I’ve ever seen 💖), and now the shop. You really are doing amazing in the area of productivity so you should never feel bad about a slow day or worry that you haven’t done enough. Adding on to that, the other thing to consider is all of that didn’t happen overnight. It took years to do everything I mentioned, so try to pace yourself and don’t expect to get everything done in one day 🫂❤️

THERE’S SO MANY CUTE LIL STICKERS 🥹💖🩷💞💕💖 The sixth one is the most precious thing in the universe 😭💖 I could honestly go on for hours about each and every sticker and how they are the most adorable things to ever exist haha Seriously though, I’m so so happy for you finally reaching this point with the shop!!! You’ve put so much care into the design of every item, and I just know these are going to bring so much joy to everyone who orders something from the shop 🥹💞 You gotta promise me you’ll get some proper sleep after you have everything figured out! 😤 Taking care of your needs is just as important as putting time into the shop/writing/drawing, after all, you’re the creator of the whole Grimport Misfits project, so when you put time into yourself you’re also putting time into your creation by investing in your health :D ❤️

I have some more complex stickers so I felt like we need some silly simple ones too 🥰❤️ Oh and gosh I will ahhahahaha that's mostlx why it's been taking me a million years to open up the shop, the packaging preparations were genuinely so challenging :,D i think, once the shop is open, it shouldn't be way too time consuming though if everything goes to plan ❤️ + I will only be shipping once a week since I do this pretty much alone :,D Ahh and thank you!! Honestly I'm super fine these days so it's totally fine 😌❤️ everything I do for this project is a labor of love, so I don't believe burnout is possible hahaha i just have to watch so my day job doesn't suffer or wreck me too badly hahha And I shalll 🥰❤️ i have a business meeting this evening and some more more print packaging to do, but after that, I'll nod off like a baby hehe Take care of yourself as well, especially during your busy days like the past month has been!! ❤️
