I tried doing the whole idea with a bunch of merch added to my slides, but man it turned out looking really shitty :,D I only left out the little stickers on the sketchbook, but pretty much all merch looked sliiightly out of place when I tried to add it in a similar way, so I ended up scrapping that part sadly. It didn't match the animation style because of all the little details, and when I added the simplified versions, you just couldn't even see what the little thingies were hahah so I animated a bunch of papers to symbolize the books instead <3
There's also gonna be texts on these, but I usually end up changing those a lot before posting, so I'm gonna post them in the final vid haha
A bit of a life update but I've been doing kiiiinda not well lately haha, so I apologize in advance for all the DMs I'm currently missing! I'll be with you guys soon <3 I've been in a bit of a rush with work lately. Art jobs are really all in or nothing, there seriously is no in between, and currently I'm in a rush of a century. It shouldn't last more than a couple of weeks, though, so I think I'll manage :D The posts are gonna keep coming as usual so no worries on that front hehe

2024-10-14 15:08:25 +0000 UTCYAAS hahah it's one of the things our old animation professor insisted on, and while I wish they would have also taught us how to animate digitally (instead of us just learning that on our own HAHA), i still think it's such a privilige to be able to work completely traditionally! You can see some of those animations waay down on my insta profile, i think I still have a hand I animated on paper there 💗 Omg and tootally, I'd love to show that to you guys if I happen to get back to it one day 😭🤲❤️ Man but you're way too sweet, thank you so much 🥹🫂❤️ I really appreciate that, esp now that things are so hectic ♡ i hope you've been making amazing progress with your story too!!

I would love to see your traditional art if you do happen to get back into it someday as well :D ❤️ And you’re so right about keeping in mind how hard you worked to get to the point you’re at. You 100% undoubtedly deserve the job you have, and you also deserve to take pride in the hard work you do and the feeling of accomplishment after finishing the projects with a short deadline.♥︎

Even when the deadlines are very tight, I try to remember just how extremely lucky I am to work a job I genuinely love, on my own terms, for my own company. That's genuinely more than baby Fosc would ever even dare dream of 💗 so as stressful as things get when projects stock up like they happen to be now, I simply try to remember what a genuine privilige that is, especially at this day and age, and how hard I worked to be where I am. it helps a TON ❤️ and besides, I'll always make time for this project no matter how busy i am ✨️✨️ I'M SO HAPPY YOU LIKE THE STILLS THOO 🥹💗 i'm soo glad it looks okay! I was kinda sad it looked so shit how I first wanted it to be, but I think this ended up being tied together pretty well anyway 🥰 HAHAHA the pookie bear doodle is my favv 💗 i need to make that a sticker too haha And honestly I don't do much traditional at all lately 😭💔 i've grown up doing traditional, like my main job throughout childhood was selling hyperrealistic portraits haha, and all my schooling was mainly done with traditional medium (even in animation school, we actually animated on paper before we did our digital films!) But since I started working professionally, I just sadly don't have the time anymore :,) but I'm hoping to get back to it someday!

But just think, even if the next few weeks are tough and you don’t have a lot of time to spend on personal art projects, there’s better days ahead waiting for you. Finding something positive to focus on in the future, even if it’s small, truly does make a world of difference when dealing with something not so pleasant. But on a positive note, these stills are so neat!! The dark vibe fits it very well 🖤 And hey, I don’t have anything to compare it to, but I’m glad you ended up going a different route with the animation because it looks awesome the way it is!! I love the pookie bear doodle in your sketch book too HAHAAA 🤣 That made me wonder, do you do much traditional art? Whether it’s on paper or painting or anything like that?
