I've been finishing up the coloring on that reel and, oh my god, it's taking so long hahah. I always feel a bit bad about posting the continuous wips of the same work but, with animation, it's just often how it goes. I gotta hyperfocus on finishing it if I wanna get them done in a timely manner. I'm REALLY excited about this upcoming vid though!! I'm vibing with the colors and I think it's coming together super nicely! I also filmed the entire process, so there's definitely gonna be a longer breakdown for Residents for that one
Anyway, tomorrow it shall be finished, so I might post something regarding that, but in the mean time, have some Kostrovs <3 Maggie is like over 18 here, but thankfully no one outgrows Rick's gigantic arms, so she still gets to be a part of this haha <3
Third book is slowly killing me with sad family angst so I had to throw in a wholesome moment in here to heal my heart

I had this one sketch laying around for moonths sobi thought, why not make a sketchy render for once, and this little black board type chalky style totally fit ❤️ HAHA and doggo ryaaan omgg he would be delighted to play with youu 🥹❤️ Ah and absolutely! Book three has a lot of really sad scenes, it deals with a lot of just topics that I personally find heavy like hospitals and health issues and a lot of family pain that comes along with it, but it also has a lot of really soft, tender moments which make it all super worth it 🥹❤️ i'm definitely balancing it out with some fun drawings as well hehe Thank YOU so much for liking them all omgg, i'm so glad you think they feel so alive 🥹❤️

Smoky, hand illustrated aspect / texture of it. 🤍 With all the round shapes, in provokes wanting to be hugged. I see the big dog there at the bottom! He is super cute. I want to play with him. I hope B.3 is killing you wisely to write those angsty moments right, so then, you can be healed to provide that sense of redemption or healing process? For the characters arc to flow rightly. If you feel there's to much pain, please, take a moment to step back, as you did with this drawing. Going through those emotions can be thought. 🫂 Thank you for making them feel so much to make them alive

I simply gotta balance the depression that is the plot with some cute scenes, I'd go mad otherwise 😭 AND YES, RIGHT?? i gotta assume it's the workload cause there is noo way 2023 feels like it lasted a decade compared to this year haha I really hope you'll like the animationnn aaa, i'm excited to share the stills hopefully later today!!

Such a good juxtaposition with your writing for your book right now, so I’m glad you have created that balance for yourself! Haha And omg I so get the time thing. I feel like the hours in the day have also gone much shorter a lot lately. It’s a freaking wild spiral spinning faster and faster lol. But maybe that’s just crazy busy mind workings! It’s a huge accomplishment to get the colours to match the vibe you’re going for and look right in the end fr ❤️🔥 (at least in my opinion haha) And I KNOWWW exactly what you mean about the time slipping away, it’s like I blinked and suddenly half the year is gone 😭
