Oh haha! I ended up googling it! It said something about wearing green kept you safe from having leprechauns jump up to pinch you...or so the legend went. 🤷♀️😆

I don't know too much about the holiday myself but I do remember the whole wearing green thing in school and getting pinched when not wearing it lol. 😘
