AltStore 2.0b3 + AltServer 1.7b1: The iOS 17 Update

Howdy Patrons!

🚀 AltStore 2.0b3 is now available and optimized for iOS 17!

First and foremost, this update features our new interactive “active apps” widget ⏳ You can now see the remaining days for ALL your active apps at once, but most importantly you can also tap the timers to refresh them directly from the home screen (we’ve also updated the original widget to be interactive). Not only that, but macOS Sonoma users can also add these widgets to their desktops!

Along with this comes a refresh to our “Refresh All Apps” Shortcut 🔄 The shortcut will now appear in the “App Shortcuts” section of the Shortcuts app and can be easily added to any automation. Even better, as of iOS 17, ALL automations can run without confirmation, giving you even more control over when to refresh your apps  - such as when joining your home WiFi!

And BIG NEWS for emulation enthusiasts 🐬 ... we’ve also updated AltServer for Mac to support AltJIT on iOS 17! Thanks in large part to work being done by the pymobiledevice3team, Mac users can now enable JIT for iOS 17 by following the instructions on our FAQ. ⚠️ This implementation currently relies on proprietary tools included with macOS, but we’re working on removing those dependencies for a Windows version. We’re sorry for the inconvenience, and we’ll keep you posted regarding our progress.

One last note for macOS Sonoma beta users - we've found a way to get AltServer working without the Mail Plugin, and a release should be ready in the next few weeks. We appreciate your patience!

If you’re already using the AltStore beta, you can update to this version from the My Apps tab.

If you're installing the beta for the first time, make sure to first link your Patreon account in the Settings tab by following these instructions: https://faq.altstore.io/patreon/altstore-beta

To update AltServer, download the AltServer attachment for your computer.
