2026-01-15 02:37:55 +0000 UTCMmm not sure if I’m liking Daphne’s attitude/mindset towards Harry going out with Tracey or other girls being interested in him. Like she’s feeling like it’s a lost business opportunity and status opportunity while I felt like there was more of a spark in earlier chapters like when both of them were dueling/sparring with each other or when dumbledore caught them going around the castle together at night. This current Daphne feels like a completely different person in recent chapters. I mean I saw a little of the buildup towards this but it feels like some of the characters took a complete 90 degree turn one way or the other. Maybe it’s because it’s starting to get darker and things are getting serious so lines are being drawn. Regardless I’m excited for the next chapter and if you need a reason to post early my 10x great grandpa’s cousin’s neighbor’s uncle’s descendant’s dog’s birthday is coming up so yeah

Dating within friend groups is usually dangerous enough, dating within a Slytherin friend group with a budding Dark Lord sound like Russian roulette with 5 rounds in the cylinder. Poor Cedric never stood a chance. My assumption is that either Harry and Tracey simply won’t quite click, or he will become to dark for her. It’s hard to say, because honestly the way you have written it I could 100% see him ending up with Tracey right now.
