I'm glad there is a struggle in harry cause it would feel nto authentic if he was just okay with everything. It's interesting to see Tom start to care about harry in his own way

2024-11-19 20:29:13 +0000 UTCIt is curious for sure to see Tom actually starting to take a somewhat liking to Harry even starting to care for his well being. Far as the Dursleys go though they are living on bided time and I can totally see the fat walrus breaking the agreement and lashing out at Harry again despite the looming threat from Tom. Muggles…cruel and destructive they can be especially some towards magical folk too. Why should Wizard kind be forced to live in fear of them? They should be free to live without that fear from bloody muggles! It is an interesting quandry for sure, to know that your mentor, the one teaching you everything needed to be great and to get stronger and even be the first person to take a genuine interest in well being also part of him anyway was the one who killed so many including Harry’s parents on his way to greatness before baby Harry stopped him. Curious of Harry will ever fully be won over by Tom or might he be able to change Tom somewhat for the better from his darker path. Feel like they will influence each other in a way. It's understandable though that Harry came to hold him in such esteem prior to knowing who he really was since Harry had no one in his life up until then who actually cared for him or took an interest in him. Odd still to me that Tom offered to take Harry on as his apprentice even despite the pact when he could have easily just killed Harry and left. Wonder what might come between the two to potentially break that pact? Almost seems like for now anyway as if Harry is bidding his time on the lookout for an out once he has reached a peak or something. Pain is one thing that Harry should be quite familiar with especially from his upbringing. See I think the problem with the Wizarding World in general is that it is so taboo and all hush hush about Dark Arts, as if they were some plague or disease. Light and dark, good or evil, is subjective, what is good to some might be bad to others, It’s all matter of opinion and not at all resolute. Besides life is not so simple as to divide into good and bad, light and dark. You must always be prepared to do all that is necessary especially if it is to destroy evil.

2024-10-29 20:14:31 +0000 UTCWill be interesting to see how Harry fares upon his return to Hogwarts, even despite his attempts to conceal any changes I imagine there will be those like the old man that will suspect or notice that something is different about Harry whether is how he acts or speaks.
