2024-10-10 03:57:26 +0000 UTCI had a great time catching up to the story. I like how you've handled the war and how you have made Harry's progression gradual. James's death was really unexpected and it definitely subverted expectations but as a whole I think it might have been the wrong move. It's completely fine and reasonable for Harry to undergo tragic losses in this war but there's 3 characters that I think just couldn't die for the story to still have a satisfying ending (not a happy ending but satisfying). James, Lily, and Elaine as a distant third. This is a Harry that has already undergone a total loss in his original timeline, I think the bare minimum achievement that he needed was saving his original parents and ensuring that they specifically got their happy ending even if he didn't. I kind of regret not commenting earlier on (left reviews on fanfic.net though) since my first comment is a critique rather than just me appreciating a story that I've definitely enjoyed.

Me personally I seen so many stories where the main characters love interest gets forgiven so easily no matter what they do but if the main character did that you know theyβll have to go above and beyond to get forgiven. So maybe I just wanted to see the love interest work for the main characters forgiveness for once.

2024-07-30 16:52:01 +0000 UTCI can see where Charlus and Dorea are coming from especially with Dorea, she does feel things differently than others after all and both are well within their rights to not totally forgive her too. They did take her in, treated her as if she their own and with no updates, no heads up at all she just disappeared with their greatest enemy of all people. I mean I wouldn't forgive her if I was them, let alone totally trust her. Someone who runs once is bound to do so again. Not to mention how much it broke Harry's heart that she did and they were forced to see how it affected him every day that she was gone.

2024-07-30 16:47:58 +0000 UTCExpectation subversion. I was honestly expecting for Harry and James to have a conversation with Death/Fleamont chewing out James before bringing him back to life. And the dweebs that keep wishing harm on an OC character and wishing that the Author would just immediately dunk on her, she gets reprimanded by Charlus and Dorea for leaving her actual family. And it was done tastefully. As always, I eagerly await the next episode.
