2024-07-29 22:24:15 +0000 UTCYa know the only part about this that probably makes it worse or sadder is that James might have died trying to help his son...but he died having believed what the old man said about going easy on Tommy and his boot lickers. And the last words spoken between him and his son were not the kindest either, with both taking opposite sides rather than standing united.

Most writers do it this way. And in the real world when you are reading a real book, you don't get to try and voice opinions to make the Author change their works. It can't be taken back. Nor should it be.

2024-07-23 22:03:46 +0000 UTCWell maybe the manor can be rebuilt, depends on what types of spells and magic touched it. Dark magic like say Fiendfyre generally any damage done by it can be permanent and can't be repaired usually.

And James is a good person who would have made a good lord in peace but is to gentle and nieve for one during war. Someone was likely gonna end up dead unfortunately

2024-07-23 14:59:21 +0000 UTCWell to be fair I kinda expected someone closer to Harry to die at some point, since a lot has changed in the timeline with Harry being there and all. Not to mention all the changes he has brought on. If James as hit by the killing curse, then he is dead and not coming back, much like Fleamont cept he was hit with a different curse that literally tore him apart. Kinda felt like wouldn't be Lily since she already had one rather close brush with death as it is and James was always the rather more brash of the two to rush into a situation head one into danger so figure might be him since I feel that Charlus and Dorea ain't gonna get it hopefully at all and Arcturus already had his damn near brush with death.
