They lost, everyone died. Understand this, if she changes nothing, they lose, and everyone dies. What she is doing is like what Harry did coming back; a Hail Mary pass to change a total loss into maybe something else. Screw earning girlfriend points. They lost, everyone died. Change that, and worry about saying sorry to something that isn't a corpse.

While I understand where she is coming from, how she wants to help, I think she is acting more from a place of insecurity (feeling like she wouldn't be able to help without learning some hidden magic when she had been helping all along) and she didn't really consider Harry. If she had she would know Harry wouldn't hold her from doing what she wanted but likely would've wanted to go with her or stayed in touch or something....I cannot see why they couldn't stay in touch...I mean between owls, fire talking, and the mirror Sirius gave Harry in his OG timeline, they could have come up with something....even the tokens Hermione used could have given piece of mind to Harry because Elaina and him could let each other know if there was an emergency...but to just dip with no conversation was cowardly and selfish IMO. Don't get me wrong, I want her to come back. I love her. But she needs a little perception shift and groveling before she can be forgiven.

I mean, Harry's not entitled to her or anything of course, but that's not how significant others should behave. It's different from intentional emotional abuse, but it is 'negligent emotional abuse', and considering Harry's general state of mind going into this whole situation, I really think Elaina should've known better. She might've irreversibly hurt Harry here. Obviously she thinks it's necessary, but it feels more like a 'Some of you may die, but that's a sacrifice I'm willing to make'-scenario. Can't wait to see how you handle the situation. Also, love the new pace in the fight against Riddle's side. Ruthless Harry is very fun to read.

Don’t let them just forgive instantly let them be all passive aggressive, actually better yet do that AND let them kill Voldemort before she comes back that way she feels worse about leaving.
