You did a fantastic job in creating so much tension for the reader. His facial expression’s!!! Are they real, is this the vaunted remorse he died with in canon? I don’t know, but I love that I don’t know yet.

2024-05-02 07:45:03 +0000 UTCAh, called it. Of course, after last chapter, you decided you need to go the angst route for your story plot. A lot of authors seem to just LOVE this kind of plot twist. Welp. The month has just started anew, so I guess I'm still in for the next 2 or 3 updates. Let's see how this goes. Useless, unnecessary angst and drama. Edit: we can probably also expect to not see Elaina for the next dozen chapters now, at the least, just because.

Say Gellert is trying to train Elaina and she is ya know carrying on and on about missing Harry and not wanting to do it without him. Gellert pinching bridge of his nose and banging his head against the wall repeatedly from having to deal with this for days if not weeks now til finally he yells "Enough!" and apparates away, finds Harry at maybe Potter Manor or somewhere grabs him saying to the people with him "I need to borrow this" then apparates back to where he and Elaine are staying and all but throws him at Elaina saying "here! happy now?"

I mean it's not like Gellert couldn't have trained Harry too if he had thought it through, could have had Harry make an unbreakable vow to never attack Gellert in a way that would kill him nor to share the magic with anyone outside of the potential children Harry and Elaina might have one day.

Unneeded and unnecessary drama because now his head ain't gonna be in the game and he'll be worrying about Elaina the whole time. Harry's never been one to set things like relationships aside for the greater good of fighting and defeating the enemy. I mean this is a war. On the battlefield soldiers can't afford to be distracted by thinking about relationships while out in the field, that's how ya get killed with silly distractions like that. Keep your mind on the missions first and foremost, the mission comes first always. Harry shoulda learned that long ago.
