2025-05-28 11:00:49 +0000 UTCHey Matt, I know when you come back to this series you might read this comment, so here are some tips that will seriously improve your quality of life in the game: 1.- Press ctrl when aligning machines, belts and foundations This will allow you to snap onto the world grid, make long lines of belts straight and align entrances to exits of machines. 2.- Elevators can be flipped by pressing R. Also, you can attach a splitter/merger to it's head. Also, if you point to the machine with a lift, the direction will be flipped according to the input/output you are pointing to. 3.- Ger tickets and buy the resource lift floor holes, these will allow you to better manage your lifts, placing them behind entrance to machines tells you where to place the lifts from below. 4.- The ratio for coal power is 3 Water Extractors for every 8 Coal Generators. 4 belts x 60 coal/belt = 240 coal, at 15 coal/min ea, you get 16 generators so 6 water extractors. (Consider using logistics floors for resource distribution) 5.- RUSH MAM RESEARCH!! 2024-11-29 12:53:48 +0000 UTCI think if you split/split/merge you should be able to retain efficiency down the iron conveyors. Split from main line, split from auxiliary, and merge the auxiliary split back to the main line.
