(Arknights) Leithanien - Ember Reaction

Okay, I got so many questions & speculations... the Witch King was slain by the Twin Empresses, but how did they overcome someone who could decimate whole armies with Arts so powerful, their destruction rivaled Catastrophes?! I'd guess they might have succeeded where others failed, finding out the secret/trick behind his incredible strength... or perhaps they managed to steal/seal away his Arts long enough to slay him?
I'd daresay, outside of the main anime cast itself, the Witch King's the most interesting character right now... it did help that he wore a bone-chilling helmet(?) & was such a powerful figure, he could exist as a "boogeyman" and even still inspire such loyalty from people, like the scholar narrator, many years after his demise.
Can we also praise the stylized artwork? Seriously, Yostar did spectacular work with this video, the imagery was very limited in color palette but it set the mood/tone so damn well... especially when accompanied by the narrator, you could feel the passion & emotion from their performance. I'd say this makes me even more hyped to watch more Arknights content now!

Lmao still can't believe you missed this reaction for so, so long... really slacking as an Arknights fan! XD This lore video still holds up, it's just too good, the Witch King is legit built different even when told as a story!

2025-02-08 06:00:01 +0000 UTCAs a person who has seen this video before, for sure *Cough* I agree, the video they did of him, showing his evil reign and how he defended Leithanien from any invading forces and how Ewigegnade and Grimmacht overthrew him and took over, is SO good. And definitely the VA as well, kudos to him. All the little lore and teaser videos they make have amazingly high quality to them!
