GUNGNIR DESTROYED?! JET POWERED TWIN TAILS?! I'd say my reactions peaks volumes itself about that cliffhanger... definitely felt like it was too easy for Hibiki, that everyone's words & expectations were setting her up for failure, and turns out that feeling was proven right. No way Miku would actually die (right now) to someone like Micha, cause it wouldn't create nearly as much emotional impact as such a significant moment should... but it did manage to make me start questioning that train of thought.
I will say, still very refreshing to see Hibiki's development, to see her act possessive and jealous, to display those negative emotions so openly when she's (typically) been a ball of sunshine that makes mistakes here & there. She felt more human than ever, seeing something the relic she worked so hard to reunite with, recognize someone else as worthy to wield it while simultaneously "rejecting" her.
What will Project Ignite entail, in terms of upgrades to the relics & their abilities? So damn hyped to see what'll happen next!
