Chapter 275: The Farm's Autumn Harvest and Gifts

After the Yveltal incident, the farm returned to its peaceful daily routine. Natsume spent his days fishing, battling Pokémon, and tending to the mutated crops. Other than that, there weren’t any significant changes. Time passed quietly.

Natsume slowly opened his eyes. The white curtains by the window fluttered in the breeze. A cool autumn wind blew in through the window. Lopunny's large ears rested on Natsume's chest, while Gardevoir sat by the window, propping her chin on her hand as she gazed outside.

Natsume gently moved Lopunny's ears aside and placed Celebi's Pokémon egg, which had rolled onto his stomach, back on the pillow. On the floor, two Eevee stirred slightly before settling back down.

Natsume got out of bed, carefully stepping around the Eevee, and walked over to Gardevoir. He leaned on the windowsill and looked outside.

The air was filled with the rich aroma of Hearty Grains. In the distance, golden wheat fields stretched out like a painting. The morning sunlight filtered through thin clouds, casting a warm glow over the golden grains. Each plump grain sparkled like a golden gem, radiating a dazzling yet comforting light.

A gentle breeze stirred the wheat, revealing Sandslash and Diglett running excitedly through the fields, cheering. Even Sirfetch'd, who usually started their morning training right away, had gathered among the Hearty Grains.

Natsume smiled at the scene. "They've finally matured."

In the forest, Pidgeotto flew across the sky.

Natsume looked up and waved. "Good morning, everyone!"

"Gardevoir, let everyone eat breakfast first, then gather in the fields."

Gardevoir nodded slightly, relaying Natsume's message through telepathy.

Water flowed from the Vaporeon-shaped faucet. Natsume cupped some water in his hands and splashed it on his face, then dried off with a towel.

Natsume looked at the message curiously. "Haven’t met but definitely know? Some kind of celebrity?"

Aiko: Sent a laughing emoji. "Exactly~"

Since participating in the Sakura City Pokémon Contests, Aiko had been working hard to become a Pokémon performance master. This career path suited her far better than contests. As Natsume was chatting with Aiko, the sound of Flygon echoed from the sky.

Natsume looked out the window. Misaki was riding Flygon as it descended toward the farm.

Natsume stepped outside and waved at Flygon.

Flygon landed beside Natsume.

Natsume patted Flygon's head. "Good job. Was it cold on the way here?"

"Flygon~"

Misaki jumped off Flygon. "It wasn’t too bad. Just a bit windy."

Natsume took the bag from Misaki. "How’s the ranch been lately?"

Misaki followed Natsume inside, chatting about the changes at the ranch.

"A few days ago, we captured a herd of wild Ponyta. And guess what? There was a shiny Ponyta in the group. It’s so beautiful!"

"A shiny Ponyta?" Natsume said. "That’s amazing. I’ve always wanted to raise a Ponyta."

Misaki stopped and pulled a Poké Ball from her pocket, smiling at Natsume. "Well, your dream just came true."

"Huh?"

Natsume looked at the Poké Ball in Misaki's hand.

Misaki tossed the Poké Ball into the air. "Come on out, Ponyta~"

A red light shot out, and a blue Ponyta appeared in front of Natsume.
