Abomasnow stared at the dissipating teleportation array, a thoughtful expression crossing its face. Abomasnow and the others had instinctively followed the Pokémon from the farm, but now that they were here, it suddenly dawned on them—Blaziken and the others had returned home, but what were they doing here?
"Abomasnow."
Abomasnow quickly waved at Natsume, pointing back at the spot where the teleportation array had been. The Frosmoth nearby nodded in agreement. They wanted to go back.
Natsume looked at Abomasnow and the others, slightly taken aback, then smiled. "Oh, since you're already here, there's no need to rush back."
"Abomasnow."
Abomasnow pointed at the sky. Unlike the north, which was already in winter, the south was still experiencing a warm autumn, making the weather uncomfortable for Abomasnow and its group.
"That's easy to fix," Natsume said, snapping his fingers. "Glaceon."
"Glaceon~~"
Glaceon trotted over to Natsume, its tail swaying.
"Glaceon, take Abomasnow, Snover, and the Weavile to the underground ice cave to rest for a while. Indeedee, could you prepare some food for them and bring it over?"
"Indeedee~"
Indeedee acknowledged the request and began preparing.
"Glaceon~"
Glaceon called out to Abomasnow and the others, signaling them to follow.
"Sneasel~"
Weavile suddenly spoke up. They wanted to explore the farm's surroundings on their own.
"Sure," Natsume said, nodding with a smile. "Go ahead. Oh, and remember, all the Pokémon here are companions on the farm, so don't attack them."
"Sneasel."
The Weavile leader acknowledged, then led its kin off to explore. The Weavile seemed quite curious about their new territory.
Meanwhile, Glaceon guided Abomasnow, Frosmoth, and the others toward the underground ice cave. Thanks to the presence of the Ice Rock, the underground cave had become a unique ice and snow world, perfect for Ice-type Pokémon to train and rest.
"Snover~"
Abomasnow and the others followed Glaceon into the bamboo grove. At the entrance of the underground cave, two Ice-type Sandshrew were emerging.
"Sandshrew?"
The Sandshrew looked curiously at Abomasnow and the group.
"Glaceon~"
Glaceon happily greeted them. Previously, Glaceon had been the only Ice-type Pokémon resting in the underground cave. Mamoswine didn't count, as it had always preferred digging for food around the farm since it was a Swinub. Lapras and the others preferred the farm's secret realm sea. Later, Natsume had brought back the Ice-type Sandshrew. Now, with Abomasnow, Snover, Frosmoth, and Weavile, the underground ice world was becoming livelier.
"Glaceon~"
Glaceon called out to the two Snover following Abomasnow, then slid down the ice slide. The Snover, seeing this, got excited.
"Snover~"
The Snover eagerly followed, sliding down as well. The Frosmoth flapped their wings, keeping up with the Snover's speed.
"Woo-hoo~"
"Abomasnow~"
Abomasnow sniffed the air, feeling the cold breeze. This place didn't seem too bad after all, it thought.
Back in the farm's courtyard, after having Glaceon and Indeedee take care of Abomasnow and the others, Natsume began discussing with Diancie and the Carbink Minister about their future residence. The massive Sacred Diamond glowed brightly nearby. Dragonite and the others curiously gathered around it, tapping and poking at it.
"Stop that, you lot!" the Carbink Minister shouted, his mustache bristling. "Don't touch it!"
"Awooo~"
Arcanine licked the diamond, then tried to bite it.
Crack~
So hard!
The Carbink Minister jumped up in frustration. "And you! Don't bite it, you idiot!"
"Awooo~"
Arcanine rubbed its teeth, then playfully pinned the Carbink Minister to the ground with a paw.
"Carbink~"
The other Carbink looked uneasy, chattering and glancing around nervously.
Natsume turned to Diancie. "Where do you want to settle everyone?"
"I'm not sure," Diancie said, looking troubled. "But I trust you, Natsume."
Natsume smiled, then waved his hand. He and Diancie floated up above the farm.
The Pecha Berry farm was built on the mountain. To the south of the farm, below the mountain, lay the Hearty Grains Land and the rest of the farm. To the east, beyond the mountain, was the Peach Blossom Road leading to Morimachi. To the north and west, there were forests and mountains. Miltank Valley, Tyranitar's habitat, and Scyther's territory were all located to the north of the farm.
Natsume gazed at the farm he had built, feeling a sense of pride. "At first, I just wanted to create a paradise that belonged solely to me. But over time, it's become a home for many Pokémon. Seeing everyone living here fills me with a sense of fulfillment."
He turned to Diancie. "So, I warmly welcome the Carbink tribe to join us. Diancie, you don't need to worry about causing me any trouble."
"Yes, Natsume."
Natsume smiled and continued, "Now, let's get down to business. The Carbink tribe lives underground, so we don't need to specially designate a living area. However, it would be good to set up a dedicated entrance. Diancie, pick a hill, and starting from there, I'll have Sandslash and Drilbur help you rebuild an underground world on the farm."
Diancie listened, moved by Natsume's words. "Yes, Natsume!"
Diancie looked down at the surrounding mountains, thinking for a moment. "Natsume, can I discuss the location with the Carbink Minister and the others?"
Natsume smiled. "Of course. You can choose any of the mountains here based on your needs."
"Yes, Natsume~"
Natsume brought Diancie back to the ground.
"Minister."
Diancie approached the Carbink Minister and explained her and Natsume's plan.
The Carbink Minister climbed to its feet. It still felt a bit reluctant to leave its original habitat. However, their underground world had become uninhabitable due to Yveltal's rampage. The Carbink Minister understood this.
"It can't be helped," the Carbink Minister said, rallying itself. "Princess Diancie, let's work together to rebuild our Underground Kingdom here!"
Diancie smiled happily. "Yes~"
