Chapter 227:Perrserker's Status Confirmation Battle!

"Here it is."

Natsume pulled out the scales that Kommo-o had dropped. "We can use Kommo-o's scales to craft your hammer."

"This way, you can have a little pink hammer of your own."

Tinkatink's eyes lit up as it stared at the pink scales in Natsume's hand.

"Tinkatink~"

Tinkatink took the Kommo-o scales from Natsume, holding them up to examine them closely.

Kommo-o's scales were incredibly tough, and since ancient times, they had been used to craft various weapons.

"However, it's already quite late today."

"We'll take you to the workshop tomorrow to make the hammer."

"I remember there's a Tinkatink factory in Tokyo."

"Tinkatink."

Tinkatink nodded, then walked to the side, hammer in hand, and started tapping away at the dragon scales.

Tinkatink took the task of crafting its hammer very seriously.

"Wartortle."

Wartortle crouched curiously beside Tinkatink, watching its every move.

Meltan, seeing that Tinkatink was no longer chasing it, finally let out a sigh of relief.

"Meltan~"

Meltan slumped to the ground, wiping the screw cap on its head.

What a dangerous little one.

After ensuring everyone had settled down, Natsume said, "You all can play here for now."

"I'm heading to the Battle Arena."

With that, Natsume vanished on the spot.

By evening, the Farm's Battle Arena was no longer open to the public.

Most of the tourists had lined up at the Farm's bus station, waiting to board the buses back to Morimachi.

Screech~

A bus came to a halt at the platform.

Timburr and Gurdurr stepped off the bus.

As they disembarked, the tourists quickly crowded into the bus.

Timburr often helped out at construction sites in Morimachi, and they usually returned around this time.

As soon as they got off, Timburr and Gurdurr eagerly made their way to the Farm's Battle Arena.

With the tourists gone, the Battle Arena was now entirely theirs.

Natsume arrived at the Battle Arena at the same time.

He greeted them, "You're back. Was Morimachi busy today?"

"Gurdurr~"

Gurdurr nodded.

The city's construction in Morimachi wouldn't be stopping anytime soon—it would likely take years.

"Good work."

Natsume smiled slightly. "Perfect timing. Let me introduce you to a new friend."

"Come on out, Perrserker."

"Perrserker~"

As soon as Perrserker emerged from its Poké Ball, it brandished its short sword, scanning its surroundings with a wary gaze.

"Sirfetch'd."

Seeing Perrserker wielding its short sword, Sirfetch'd immediately showed interest.

"Sirfetch'd."

Sirfetch'd swung its long sword toward Perrserker, issuing a battle challenge.

Perrserker glanced at Sirfetch'd, then suddenly lunged forward, slamming a palm toward it.

Bang!

Sirfetch'd reacted quickly, raising its shield to block Perrserker's Fake Out.

"Sirfetch'd."

With a forceful push, Sirfetch'd shoved Perrserker back, then swung its sword down at it.

Perrserker hastily raised its short sword to block the attack.

"Sirfetch'd!"

Sirfetch'd's arm pressed down with immense strength.

Bam~

With a dull thud, Perrserker was instantly knocked to the ground.

"Sirfetch'd."

Sirfetch'd, looking somewhat disappointed, sheathed its long sword.

After recovering, Perrserker stood back up, giving Sirfetch'd a serious look.

Sirfetch'd had already reached Near Champion level.

The gap in strength between it and Perrserker was too vast.

Perrserker stood no chance.

However, even if it couldn't beat Sirfetch'd, there were plenty of other Pokémon in the arena that Perrserker could take on.

Perrserker's gaze shifted to the other Pokémon in the Battle Arena.

Many Pokémon, when arriving in a new place, would engage in battles with the local Pokémon to establish their standing in the environment.

That's exactly what Perrserker was doing now.

Most of the Pokémon active in the Battle Arena were Fighting-types from the Farm.

Infernape, Heracross, Kommo-o, Hawlucha, Grapploct.

And then there were Breloomdude and the newly arrived Timburr.

"Perrserker!"

After observing for a moment, Perrserker set its sights on Heracross.

"Heracross~"

Heracross gladly accepted the challenge.

"Natsume, you're back."

Kiko, holding a camera, noticed Natsume's arrival and ran over.

She looked curiously at Perrserker and asked, "Weren't you supposed to be catching Clauncher?"

Natsume, watching the battle unfold, replied, "Something came up, so I came back early."

Kiko turned her attention to Perrserker.

"Isn't this the pirate Pokémon from Great Britain Island?"

"It looks really fierce."

As she spoke, Kiko raised her camera and snapped a photo of Perrserker.

Bam~

Another dull thud echoed from the Battle Arena.

Perrserker was lifted by Heracross and slammed to the ground.

"Heracross~"

Perrserker shook its head, quickly got back up, and began searching for its next opponent.

"Is it still going to fight?"

"Is this really okay?"

Mikoharu walked over, looking concerned. "I've seen Perrserker get knocked down twice already."

"Don't worry."

Natsume watched with interest as Perrserker approached Annihilape. "Perrserker is a Pokémon that loves to battle."

"And the Farm's Pokémon know how to hold back. They're just testing each other's strength, so Perrserker isn't seriously hurt."

Mikoharu nodded in understanding. "I see."

Natsume kept his eyes on Perrserker. "This guy's got a long day of fighting ahead."

Perrserker's strength was about mid-tier among the Farm's battle-loving Pokémon, meaning it could hold its own against both stronger and weaker opponents.

"Chansey and Audino, I'll leave them to you."

"Perrserker~"

Natsume checked the time. It was almost six.

The Farm's tourists had mostly dispersed by now.

As October approached, the days were getting shorter, and night fell earlier.

"Let's head up the mountain."

Natsume turned to the two. "Indeedee has already prepared dinner."

"Alright~"

Kiko walked beside Natsume, showing him the photos on her camera. "I took a lot of great pictures today."

Natsume took the camera. "This one's really good."

Kiko stood on her tiptoes, looking at the photo Natsume had selected, and smiled. "I love that one too~"

In the photo, Sandslash stood in front of the Hearty Grains in the fields.

Behind Sandslash, Sandshrew stood in a fan-like formation.

It looked like Sandslash was explaining something to the Sandshrew.

Natsume smiled as he looked at the photo. "I think Sandslash must be describing to the Sandshrew what the Farm will look like when the Hearty Grains are fully grown."
