Natsume asked curiously, looking at Arboliva beside him.

Arboliva shook its head.

It didn’t know either.

Arboliva only knew that there were many strange things inside.

“Strange things?”

“Ruins, perhaps?”

Natsume muttered to himself and then headed toward the underground passage.

It was dark down there, and it was very humid.

Natsume turned on his flashlight and looked around.

There were no Pokémon here, only a pile of completely abandoned laboratory equipment, haphazardly stacked together.

This place must have been a laboratory.

“Doesn’t seem like there’s anything useful.”

Natsume used Psychic to make all the lab equipment float in the air.

“Natsume, there’s something in here.”

Gardevoir discovered an iron box in a corner.

Natsume opened the box.

Inside was a notebook.

“A diary?”

“What kind of serious person writes a diary?”

The text in the diary resembled ancient English.

Natsume could understand it for the most part.

It appeared to be a researcher’s diary.

The content roughly indicated that they served some organization and sought to find and control the legendary Ocean God.

The diary stated: unfortunately, they found it.

Natsume continued reading.

They thought they could use artifacts to control the Ocean God.

However, in reality, they ended up being controlled.

The legendary Pokémon went out of control.

The Ocean God’s anger submerged the city.

This awakened the sleeping earth and flame gods.

Their battle affected Giratina in the Distortion World.

Its involvement shattered the world.

Natsume realized at the end that this told the story of a mad, ambitious individual who triggered a battle among legendary Pokémon.

And this battle led the world to destruction.

The nearby Eevee all jumped in, tumbling together into a fluffy ball.

Natsume walked past them and was about to enter the room when Cinccino rushed over.

Cinccino stared intently at Natsume’s soaked clothing.

Natsume helplessly handed the bottle of oil to Cinccino.

Gardevoir waved her hand and brought Natsume a towel.

Natsume removed his clothing and sent it directly into the washing machine.

Housekeeper Rotom immediately started the washing machine.

Misaki entered the room wearing an apron.
